Kalhatti Falls, Bellikkal   (part of ooty region)

Kalhatti Falls is a magnificent waterfall that plummets 400 feet or 122 meters. Sometimes these falls are referred to as the Kalahasti Falls. It is almost a transcendental experience to witness the raw power that this waterfall contains, yet it radiates beauty and grace at the same time. The falls are surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The Mudumalai forest, the Bandipur forest, and plenty of cardamom trees can be found all in the same general area as Kalhatti Falls. It is also possible to experience some of India's exotic wildlife in the area of the falls. Bear, tigers, elephants, and monkeys can all be seen in that region
